FIENDEL, Patrick J., 71, passed away April 26, 2006 at Kettering Memorial Hospital. He is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Blanche Fiendel. He was a beloved father to his children Karen and Henry. Patrick was an avid fisherman and had the expertise to find and catch them. He loved hunting in the beautiful mountains and valleys of Maine. He loved to do landscaping, rearranging the majestic flowers, trees, and shrubs to magnify God's beauty of nature. His loving friend Sandy Barton of 17 years was the mainstay that kept everything in order and love. He served in the United States Air Force during the Berlin Airlift. He received the National Defense Medal, Good Conduct Medal and German Occupation Medal. Patrick is survived by one daughter Karen Morzella; son Henry Fiendel; 3 grandchildren; sisters Gladys Sopczak, Riverside, OH, Mabel Duva, East Hartford, CT, Arlene Shoup, Blair, OK, Charlene Kirdy, of Medderbora, MA, Dorothy Swimm, of Shelbourne, NS, and Marylene Gresko, of Copperas Cove, TX; brothers Martin Fiendel, of CA, and Richard F. Comtios, of Albuquerque, NM. A memorial service will be held 6:00PM Monday, May 1, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
