Patrick E. Willoughby, Sr.

WILLOUGHBY, Patrick "Pops" E. Sr., age 77, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2009. He was born February 21, 1932 in Warren, Ohio. He retired from WPAFB and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife, Earleen Willoughby; children, Kathleen Willoughby, Patrick (Rebecca) Willoughby, Jr., Daniel (Kimberlee) Willoughby, and David (Tina) Willoughby ; step-children, Diana Shank, Larry Bowman, Greg Bowman, and Jeff Bowman; grandchildren, 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; one, brother, Jerry Willoughby; one sister, Anita Dobrzelecki. He was preceded in death by parents, William and Mary (Burgermeyer) Willoughby; brothers, William Willoughby and Jim Willoughby; sisters, Winifred Trachsel and Carol Crabtree. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 19, 2009 from 6-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel where funeral services will be held Thursday, August 20, 2009 at 12:30 pm with Pastor Donald Shurts officiating. Burial will follow in Dayton National Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Dayton.
