Pat Cleaver
Age 62, of Tipp City, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at Miami Valley Hospital after a long and valiant fight.
He was born July 23, 1943 in Springfield, Ohio to Theodore S. & Charlotte (O'Shea) Cleaver. In addition to his parents Pat is preceded in death by one daughter, Tricia Cleaver; two brothers, Jack Cleaver & Michael Cleaver.
He is survived by his wife of the past 16 years, Linda (Murray) Cleaver; three daughters, Tracey Cruz of Tipp City, Tammy & Joe Landrum of Springfield, and Jessica Graham of Troy; six grandchildren, Jessica & Steven Ferrell, Erica Landrum, Jaqulyn Cruz, Joseph Landrum III, Jennifer Landrum and Aubree Cash; three sisters, Shirley & Jack Lobue, Marianna Wiltshire and Jennifer Sue & David Matthews; one brother, Steve Cleaver; and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends. Pat was co-owner of J. R.'s Hair Designs for the past 26 years. He enjoyed socializing with his many friends.
His family and friends will remember him for his love of golf, babies, the Bengals, Dragons, UK Basketball, OSU Football, cleaning his cars, and anything sweet.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, with Pastor Jim Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 PM, Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family would prefer that contributions be made in memory of Pat to be used to offset his overwhelming medical expenses. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
