AMANN, Patrick "Pat" Eugene, age 89, passed away on December 11, 2016.

Pat was born January 2, 1927. A graduate of Dayton's Patterson Co-Op High School, he worked as a printer for McCall Corporation, Dayton Newspapers, Inc., and National Cash Register Corporation. During his 27 years with NCR, Pat worked at both the Dayton and Washington Courthouse plants.

In his later years, Pat was employed for 15 years as a Manager of several different Frisch's Big Boy restaurants in the greater Dayton area, for 15 years as a food service worker in the commissary of Liberty Nursing Home in Miamisburg, and for 18 years as Bailiff of the City of Oakwood Municipal Court.

He is survived by his adored Wife of 68 years, Mary Theresa (Steiner) Amann of Oakwood, Ohio; Daughters, Linda (Bruce) Snyder of Oakwood, Ohio and Susan "Susie" (James) Wilson of Troy, Ohio; Grandchildren, Michael E. "Mike" (Rima Karim) Neal of Washington, D.C., Mary Patricia "Tricia" (Aaron) Seitz of Carmel, Indiana, Matthew "Matt" Amann of Middletown, Ohio, James P. "Jamie" (Melissa) Wilson, Jr. of Cambridge, Ohio, Patrick A. "Pat" (Jennifer) Neal of Greenwich, Connecticut, Mary Amanda "Mandy" (Ben) Killarney of Middletown, Ohio, Richard P. "Ricky" (Bryan) Fraley-Wilson of Dayton, Ohio, Gretchen Marie (David) Pleshaw of Edwards, Colorado; 11 Great Grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and special friend, Michelle Neal of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Pat was adored by his Wife, Children, Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren, and anyone who met him was an instant friend!

Pat was preceded in death by his Daughter, Mary Katherine "Kathy" Neal; Parents, Esther and Oscar Amann; Brother, Charles (Mary Ann) Amann, Sister, Gertrude (Ralph) Meyer, and Grandson, Stephen Todd "Stevie" Wilson.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 12:00pm at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 1322 Brown St., Dayton, Ohio 45409.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holy Angels School, Angels in Education, 223 L St., Dayton, Ohio 45409 or to the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, 124 W. Apple St., Dayton, Ohio 45402.
