Patricia Lee Sparks

Patricia Lee Sparks, age 74 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 5, 2025. She was born on November 22, 1950, in Bradenton, Florida, the daughter of Louis and Helen Clevenger. 

Patricia was a stay-at-home mom until she became a hairdresser. Family was always her main focus. She loved gatherings with extended family and vacations to Orlando and Siesta Key because she loved taking her kids to Disney World and spending time with them at the beach. The ocean was one of her favorite places. She enjoyed listening to music, dancing, reading books, watching movies, and playing cards. She was also skilled at arts and crafts and maintaining her flower beds. She was a former cheerleader, so she was always the loudest one cheering for her kids and grandkids at their events. Her grandkids were one of her biggest joys in life, and they knew how much she loved them. 

Patricia is survived by her husband of 52 years, James; daughters, Sarah (Patrick) McAfee, Stacy (Eric) King, Stephanie (Darren) Snurr; grandchildren, Cameron, Callie, McKenzie, Kyle, Ely, and June; sisters, Karen Gray and Connie Hubbard; as well as numerous loving relatives and friends. 

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Jo Abraham, and Jeff Clevenger. 

The visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Centerville Chapel, 820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45459. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m.
