Patricia A. Seer, age 88 of Kettering, OH was called to heaven on Monday, November 5, 2018. She was born January 14, 1930 in Middletown, Ohio to Melville and Mary (Jacobs) Shotts, and was raised by her step father Robert Ernst. Patty married John J. Seer on July 9, 1955 in Middletown, OH.
Patty graduated from Middletown High School and she was employed at Gardner's Paper Company in Middletown. She loved to garden and work in the yard with her husband John, and especially enjoyed shopping. Patty loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Patty is survived by her son, Tim A. (Kim LittleJohn) Seer; two brothers, Rick (Julie) Ernst and David (Debbie) Ernst; a sister in law, Lorene Ernst; and numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; her step father Robert; her husband John; her beloved dog Patches; and a brother William Ernst.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. Helen Catholic Church, 605 Granville Place, Dayton, OH 45431. Burial will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Patty's name can be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH 45420.
