Patricia (Gansley) Reger,
Age 74, surrounded by family left this earth to join God's Choir on May 7, 2014. Pat loved singing as she was a devoted member of Faith United Methodist Church in her younger days and then finished her service with Tipp City United Methodist Church. Pat spent her life serving God and her family.
Pat was known as the family matriarch including widespread extended family. She always put others needs ahead of her own and was loved dearly for her kind and giving heart. She also was known for her silly unintentional humor which lit up the room and always filled it with laughter.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Margie Gansley; sister, Carole Haack; and grandson, Benjamin Fisher.
She leaves behind her faithful husband of 52 years, Jack; daughters, Jacque (Dave) Fisher, Jill (Kyle) Burnett, and Jeanne (Dan) McKitrick; grandchildren, Jamie, Bailey, Damien, and Aubrey; and great-grandson, Anden; sister, Roberta Pitman; and numerous other dear family members and friends. She retired from 1st National Bank/PNC after 40 years. Throughout the years she served as treasurer of the church, church board member, choir member, monthly newsletter volunteer, and prayer shawl creator. She enjoyed any family/friend party (as witnessed by her final days).
The family will receive friends, Friday, May 9, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Tipp City United Methodist Church, 8 W. Main St. A funeral service will be held at the church on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 12:00 pm. Interment to follow at Forest Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Hospice of Dayton, Hospice of Miami County, or to Tipp City United Methodist Church.
