Patricia Ray, age 91, of West Carrollton, passed away April 18, 2021.
She was born March 18, 1930 in Miamisburg, Ohio to the late John Pressell and Velma Hetzel. In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her brother, John Pressell, Jr. sister, Martha Cox, and daughter-in-law, Sarah "Jeannie" Ray.
She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Omer "Buck" Ray; daughter, Gwen (Tom) Scarborough; son, Michael Ray; 3 grandsons, Michael A. Ray, Matthew (Elizabeth) Scarborough, and James (Laura) Ray. Patricia is also survived by her 3 great-granddaughters, Lilly Scarborough, Maci Ray, and Ellie Ray.
In her spare time Patricia liked to fish with Buck. She also enjoyed gardening and canning what she grew.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 12:30 pm until time of service at 1:30 pm at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd.
If desired, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Patricia's memory.
The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face mask will be worn in all public places.
