Patricia Eileen Monroe

Patricia "Pat" Eileen Monroe, age 77 of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away peacefully July, 12, 2020. She was born October 13, 1942 in Dayton, ohio daughter of the late James and Eva Croghan.
Pat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Pat was a board member of the Beavercreek Soccer Association. She was also a member of PTO of Fairbrook Elementary. Pat was an avid bowler and a member of several leagues. She was very supportive of her grandchildren and attending their various activities. Pat loved her family and she will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by brother, Dr. Thomas Croghan.
Pat is survived by her husband of 54 years, William "Bill" Monroe; children, April (Michael) Knight, Duane (Amy) Monroe, and Greg (Beth) Monroe; 7 grandchildren; siblings, Robert (Pam) Croghan and Dennis (Sharon) Croghan; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Family will receive friends on Friday, July 17, 2020 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel. A funeral will begin at 12:00 noon. Burial services will follow at Dayton Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Pat's honor to the National Kidney Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
