Patricia Faye Newberry

Patricia Faye Newberry, age 61 of Dayton, Ohio passed away peacefully with her family by her side on November 16, 2024. She was born April 1, 1963 in Dayton, Ohio daughter of the late Luther Carson Sr. and Mildred Newberry.

Patricia loved life and loved music. She had a fun loving spirit and could often be heard singing her favorite songs. As a result many of her friends affectionately called her Patty Duke. 

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael Newberry, Ronnie Carson Sr., Bennie Carson Sr., and Anthony Young; sisters, Evelyn Davis, Marilyn Newberry, and Carolyn Carson.

She is survived by her daughters, Tiffany Newberry and Brittany Jones; siblings, Alfreda (Marvin) Jones, Dolores Williams, Mary Ann Newberry, Allen Newberry, Sheila Wilson, Sandra Reddens, Ava Brassfield, Latika Bostick, Theodore Carson, Jeffery Carson Sr., Donnie Carson Sr., Luther Carson Jr., and Nehemiah Robinson; several nieces and nephews; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Memorial services for Patricia will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Mt. Enon Missionary Baptist Church, 1501 West Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way (W. Third) Dayton, Ohio 45402.
