Patricia Monk, age 81 of Beavercreek passed away December 19, 2019.
She was born September 12, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Alex and Dorothy (Racalla) Jagnecki.
Patricia worked at Wal-Mart for 25 years and served as a volunteer for a crisis hotline in Dayton for many years. She had a love for books, gardening, decorating and creating beauty for her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bernard Eugene Monk and daughter Karen Lisa Monk.
Patricia is survived by her four children Theresa Hathaway, Bernard (Michelle) Monk, Barbara (Mark) Hopping and Mary Ellen Monk; 4 grandchildren Katey (Travis), Bethany (Thomas), Mandy (Erik) and Joseph (Jen); four great grandchildren Ruby, Abigail, Mackenzie, Madison; brother Eugene (Beth) Jagnecki and her little furry, 4 legged companion "Missy"; as well as many other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2019 from 1-3:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 23, 2019 at 10:30 am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
