Patricia R. Lauricella "Patty", age 69 of Dayton, passed away on August 6, 2022. She was born December 15, 1952, in Middletown, OH to the late Doyal and Mildred (Elam) Short. In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her siblings, Donnie, Pete, Jim, and Arlene.
She is survived by her loving husband, Mike; children, Angie (Jeff) Bradford and Shelly (Al) Peters; six grandchildren, Caity, Toni, Amber, Emi, Ella, and Aiden; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Easton, Raliegh, G'eon and Faye; siblings, Sandy (Danius) Hicks and Carol (Greg) Cummins; numerous extended family and dear friends.
Patty's hobbies consisted of crocheting and knitting blankets for EVERYONE! If she so much as heard someone was having a baby, she was making them a blanket. She loved spending time with family and friends, going on vacations, reading every night before bed, and anything to do with dolphins or sunflowers.
A Celebration of Patty's Life will be held at Bella Villa Hall, 2625 County Line Road, Kettering, OH on October 16th, 2022 from 1:00 PM-4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital, St. Jude in Patty's memory.
