Patricia Jean Kolb, age 91, of New Paris passed away on March 24, 2024. She was born in Dayton on June 11, 1932 to the late John and Henrietta Sheridan. In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, John J. and son, John Michael.
Patricia is survived by her children, Jean (Jeff) Yeomans, Greg Kolb, Richard (Irene) Kolb, Susan Ackley, Kathleen (Michael) Houston, Timothy (Raida) Kolb, David (Denise) Kolb; daughter-in-law, Bertha Kolb; grandchildren, Sarah Kolb, John Kolb Jr., Loretta Westcamp, Larry (Gracie) Roberts, Mark (Renee) Yeomans, April (Charles) Raby, Brian (Jessica) Kolb, Adam Kolb, Matt (Hannah) Kolb, Aaron (Grace) Kolb, Dustin Clark, Courtney (David) DiMaio, Dexter Kolb, Dusty (Anna) Kolb, Kimi (Shane) Kerns, Stephen (Christina) Mumford, Noreen (Matthew) Charles, Matthew (Kathy) Mumford, Megan (Dustin) Wills, David (Faith Burnfield) Ackley, Brett Houston, Gretchen (Josh) Schneider, Amanda (Ryan) Stadelman, Savannah (Alec) Knipp, TJ Kolb, Zachary Kolb, Lauren Kolb, Jacob (Alyssa) Kolb, Nicholas Kolb, Kaitlyn (James) Ingram, Zachary Turner, Madison Kolb, Jackson Kolb and brother-in-law, Steve (Ann) Kolb; along with numerous great-grandchildren.
Patricia was a registered nurse and retired from Wayne Hospital, where she was the director of the OB unit. Following retirement, Patricia and John started their own business called Kolb's Specialty Bakery and Catering, specializing in Hungarian pastries and cabbage rolls. She was a devout Catholic and dedicated member of St. Gertrude the Great Catholic Church in West Chester. She enjoyed baking, gardening and spending time with her family. Patricia will be deeply missed and forever loved by her family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Newcomer Kettering, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Rosary will begin at 11:00 a.m. with a Requiem Mass starting at 11:25 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at St. Gertrude the Great Catholic Church, 4900 Rialto Rd, West Chester Township. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, 1625 Calvary Ave.
