Patricia "Tricia" Jean Junker, 56, of Dayton, peacefully passed away on November 17, 2022. She was born March 23, 1966 in Sewickley, PA, to Robert and Jeanne Loedding.
Tricia earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from the University of Dayton. During her professional career, she served in various positions at two local television stations. She went on to dedicate the rest of her life to being a mother to her five children. Tricia also shared her time and talents as a teacher's aid, babysitter, nanny, VBS teacher, and Girl Scout leader.
She enjoyed the fellowship she shared and the relationships she made in both a home-based Christian community and women's Bible study. She loved spending time with family, playing games, and watching football.
Tricia will be remembered for her contagious smile and inspiring faith. She was known for her competitive spirit, light-hearted sense of humor, selflessness, and humility.
Tricia is survived by her loving family, including her husband of 33 years, Steve; children, Sarah, Samuel, Thomas, Theresa, and Sophia; parents, Bob and Jeanne; siblings, Jane, Edward, Mary, Susan, and Barbara; and many other extended family members and friends. She was a devoted wife and loving mother, sister, daughter, and friend.
The family would like to thank the staff at Kettering Cancer Care, OSU - The James, and Day City Hospice for their wonderful care.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, November 22nd, 2022 beginning at 11:00AM at Our Lady of Good Hope (6 S 3rd St, Miamisburg, OH). A visitation time will be held Monday, November 21st, 2022, from 5:00-8:00PM at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Road, Dayton, OH 45459). Her final resting place will be Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Cemetery, Miamisburg, OH.
