Patricia Hudlund-Nye

Patricia Hedlund-Nye, age 70, of Riverside, Ohio, passed away on November 8, 2023. She was born in Wilmar, MN, on November 19, 1952 to the late Harley and Virginia Sweep. In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her husband, James Nye; sister, Ruth; brother, Danny; and siblings in infancy: Dean and Judy.

Patty is survived by her sons: Joshua Hedlund and Jeremiah (Jennifer) Hedlund; step children: Ray (Roxanne), Miranda, and Jimmy; grandchildren: Jacy Virginia, Desiree, Tommy, Donovan, Breanna, Emmalynn, Ray Jr., and Malia; Robbie (Robert Lewan) Marciniak, Terry (Jerry) Herschbach, David (Debra) Sweep, Dale Sweep, Gerald (Eileen) Sweep, sister in-laws Joyce and Sue; and many other family and friends.

Patty was a caring person, she was always looking out for others and making sure that everyone was taken care of at home. Patty went back to school to get her degree in computer science while also raising her two sons. She was a hard worker and a wonderful mother and grandmother.

A Celebration of Life will be held for the family at a later date.
