GROOMS, Patricia Ann (Sharritt)
Age 61, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2008, at Kindred Hospital. Patty was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Grooms; her parents, Clifford J. & Betty J. (Brown) Sharritt; and by her son, Edward Lee "Eddie" Jones, Jr. She is survived by one daughter and her companion, Jacquelyn Renee Jones & Tim DeBusk; one granddaughter, Beth Ann Adams; two brothers, Donald & his wife, Marie Miller and Clifford & his wife, Donna Sharritt; her "sister" and best friend, Delores Jones; and by a host of extended family & many good friends. Patty retired from the Moore Paper Box, Inc. with 34 years of service. The family will be receiving friends from 5:30-7:00PM Tuesday November 4, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 1:30PM Wednesday November 5, 2008 at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Hillgrove Cemetery.
