Patricia A. Gilbert

Patricia A. Gilbert, age 79 formerly of Miamisburg, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2020 at Hillspring of Springboro. She was born February 16, 1941 in McComas, West Virginia, daughter of the late Dewey and Lena Semones.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Leslie W. Gilbert and siblings, Pearl, Danford, Dorothy and Don.
Pat is survived by her son, Leslie W. Gilbert Jr. and his wife, Tina Gutierrez; numerous nieces and nephews; a huge church family and many friends.
Pat attended Pulaski High School in VA and completed 9th grade and later obtained her GED. She was employed by Warren County Educational Service Center for 10 years as a teacher's aide before retiring. Pat had been a resident of the greater Dayton area since the late 60's where she and her husband pastored the Church of God of Prophecy in Middletown and Dayton for many years. In her spare time Pat enjoyed socializing, music and caring for others. In her youth she shared her singing talent and directed several productions at her church. Pat will always be remembered for her genuine caring nature for others and her infectious laugh.
Out of an abundance of caution for the well-being of friends and family, services to celebrate Pat's life will be hosted at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Church of God of Prophecy at 3714 Tytus Ave., Middletown, OH 45042.
