Patricia Ann Duchak, age 81, of Vandalia, Ohio, began her new life with the Lord on November 30, 2023. Pat was born in Dayton, Ohio on June 23, 1942 and was the only child of Karl and Mary Otto. She was a graduate of Belmont High School, Class of 1960, and she had a career in management of retail sales.
Pat was an avid animal lover. She loved her pets very much, and she also cared for numerous strays. In addition to caring for animals, Pat also enjoyed collecting dolls, playing slot machines, and being outdoors. Some of her favorite places were Las Vegas, Gatlinburg, and Indian Lake. Above all however, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Karl S. and Mary M. (Hildebrand) Otto, and James B. Richmond, whom she was married to for 30 years and remained great friends until his passing.
Pat is survived by her loving husband, David P. Duchak; her daughter and best friend, Tamara A. Rawlins; beloved grandsons, Robert "Cody" Clark and Dustin J. Rawlins; precious great-grandsons, Waylon R. and Westen J. Clark; step-children, David Duchak Jr., Joycie (Glenn) Cline, Kelli (Keith) Kinnear, and Daniel Duchak; 5 step-grandchildren, and numerous cousins.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 4:00pm to 5:00pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. A memorial service will immediately follow at 5:00pm.
Pat's service will be livestreamed at the scheduled service time.
