Patricia A. Coates, age 77, of Xenia passed away October 21, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton.
She was born March 16, 1941 in Xenia to the late Robert Leroy and Helen (Wright) Cope.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ralph Coates (in 1994), her brother Robert and sister Jean; a granddaughter Trisha Merrill and son-in-law Herbert Younker.
She is survived by her 4 children Cheryl Younker, Dennis (Rebecca) Coates, Robin (Dan) Haman and Sandra (Bradley) Osborne; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as many other family and friends.
Pat liked going out on the boat, reading books and going to watch her grandkids and great grandkids play sports. She loved when her family came together for gatherings. She was a great cook and treasured her family. She will be dearly missed.
A Celebration of Pat's life will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel with burial to follow in Woodland Cemetery in Xenia.
Pat's family will greet family and friends from 1-2:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
