Patricia Cheryl Clark

September 28, 1947 — January 7, 2025

Miamisburg

Patricia Cheryl Clark of Miamisburg, Ohio was born on September 28, 1947, in Dayton, Ohio, along with her twin sister Laticia. Patricia passed on January 7, 2025, in Kettering, Ohio.

Pat's life was filled with countless precious moments, including the many games she created for her children to enjoy. Her playful spirit brought joy to every gathering, and her laughter echoed through the halls of her home, turning simple moments into cherished family traditions. Survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Leon L. Clark. Pat was an exceptional mother to her three children, DeAnna Cheryl (Dan) Alley, Sheila Kathleen (Chris) Brown, and William Aaron (Sofia) Clark, wrapping them in an embrace of unconditional love and support. She reveled in the role of grandmother to her seven grandchildren: Kathleen Dixon, Daniel Alley, Heather Alley, Riley Brown, Patricia Brown, William Curtis Clark, and James Thomas "JT" Clark. Each one held a special place in her heart, and they will carry forward her legacy of love. She celebrated the arrival of her great-grandchildren, Eleanor Grace Staten and Daisy Lou Alley, and had another little one on the way, each representing a new chapter of joy in her ever-growing family. In addition to her children, Pat will be forever remembered as a motherly figure to her sons-in-law Dan and Chris, as well as a mother, best friend, and teacher to her daughter-in-law Sofia.

As a devoted wife and mother, she dedicated her life to her family, embodying kindness, love, generosity, and an unforgettable sense of humor. She was not only cherished by her family but also a beloved sister to Laticia Hodges, Madonna (Dave) Morris, Diane (Daniel) Brown, and Daryl (Lizandra) Smith. They shared countless memories, moments of laughter, and the support that only siblings can provide.

Pat's presence will be missed by her family and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, all of whom were touched by her generous spirit and loving heart. She was preceded in death by her devoted parents, James Wallace and Josephine H. Smith, her father and mother-in-law, Curtis and Estelle Clark, and brothers-in-law, Danny R. Clark and Frank Hodges.

Pat was a 1965 graduate of West Carrollton High School. She was proud to be a devoted Christian, and a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Her commitment to her faith added another beautiful layer to her already rich life.
