Patty's sunrise was July 1st, 1963 and her sunset was June 1st, 2017.
She is survived by her wonderful husband Ric of 29 years and her two beautiful children, Taylor and Sarah. She is survived by her father Tom Roberts (Marion). She is also survived by her sisters Pam Roberts (David) Neeley, Barb Roberts, as well as her Mother-in-law Mary Smeritschnig and brother-in-law Kevin Bir and many step sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews.
Patty was born in Monrovia, California. She moved to Xenia in 1972 and graduated from Xenia High school in 1981. She met her husband in Monrovia, CA in 1984 and married him in 1988. She owned her own diagnostic transcription business for 15 years, then moved back to Ohio in 2004 start started Mad River Pets Foods Distributing with Ric. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and great friend. Patty loved to laugh.
Visitation is June 10, 2017 from 3 to 5pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (Kettering). Service will follow at 5pm. There will also be a California service at a later date.
Patty has asked in lieu of flowers, Please make donations to the Maple Tree Cancer Alliance c/o Dr. Karen Wonders at 3312 U.S. Route 42E Cedarville Ohio 45314, or Noble Circle Sisters Project, Dayton Ohio.
