Pansy Maloney

MALONEY, Pansy Vivian (Hurd) departed this life November 11, 2004 at Sycamore Hospital after an extended illness. She was born in Hancock County, TN. May 17, 1928 the daughter of the late Grant and Myrtle (Owens) Hurd. She lived her early years in Hancock and Claiborne County, TN. and taught school there for a period of time before marrying the love of her life, Vester Maloney, who survives her. They celebrated 54 years of marriage on January 25, 2004. Other survivors include; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra Kaye (Paul) Patterson of Centerville, Wanda Faye (Darrell) Webb of Miami Township; 1 son and daughter-in-law, Gary (Connie) Maloney of West Carrollton; 4 grandsons, Nathan and Justin Maloney, Jason and Shawn Webb; 2 granddaughters, Tammy (Patterson) Bell and Nicki (Maloney) Huffman; 2 granddaughters-in-law, Julie Webb, Bridgett Webb and 4 great-grandchildren, Valerie and Bradley Bell, Riley Huffman and baby Webb. She is also survived by her 2 brothers, Pascal Hurd of Germantown, OH, Ralph Hurd of Morristown, TN; 4 sisters, Vera Lynch of Miamisburg, Ruby Lewis of Morristown, TN, Maysie Rowlett and Maxie Bantner, both of Lima, OH and many nieces and nephews. She enjoyed her friends and family, especially her grandchildren and became everybody's "MaMa" at their events. She was a faithful member of the West Carrollton Church of God and has been a Christian for 50 years. We would like to thank the staff of Walnut Creek Nursing Center and Sycamore ER and ICU for their support during our mother's illness. Funeral services will be held 2:30PM Saturday, November 13, 2004 at Newcomer Farley Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Visitation will be held from 1:30PM until time of services. Rev. George Wilson will be officiating with interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
