Pamela Sue (Thomas) Van Cleve, 70, of Middletown OH, passed away on Monday, November 7th, 2022, at Otterbein Springboro SeniorLife Neighborhood. She was born on March 31st, 1952, in Middletown, OH. The daughter of Joseph Thomas and Barbra Jean (Lamme) Thomas.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Joseph Hobert Thomas, Inez (Potts) Thomas, Edward Lamme, and Retha (Kindred) Lamme; parents, Joseph Gail Thomas, and Barbra Jean (Lamme) Thomas; and sister, Beverly (Thomas) Carter.
Pamela is survived by her two children, April Moore, and Justin Van Cleve; four grandchildren, Kathryn Moore, Jakob Thomas, Maddison Thomas, and McKenzzie Thomas; 2 brothers, Michael Thomas, and Patrick Thomas. Pamela is also survived by her beloved cat Shadow and numerous other family members.
She graduated from Middletown High School in 1970 and later received her bachelor's degree in Psychology from The University of Phoenix. Though Pamela worked different jobs, she was most proud of her work as a dispatcher for the Germantown Police Department. Pamela enjoyed cooking/baking, gardening, shopping, watching tv, listening to music, and spending time with her family and cat.
Anyone who knew Pamela knows that she was a wonderful person. She was a spitfire and a firecracker, which was fitting since her favorite holiday is the 4th of July. She was incredibly kindhearted. She always was the first to help family and friends in need. Pamela is loved and will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.

A graveside ceremony will be held at 12pm on Friday, December 16th, 2022. She will be laid to rest with her mother, father, and sister at Woodside Cemetery located at 1401 Woodside Blvd, Middletown, OH 45044. The burial plot is in section 28, lot 1399, grave 2.
The family hopes those who would like to honor her will find a quiet time to remember who she was in their life and be thankful for the time they had together.
