Pamela Rose Salyer

Pamela Rose Salyer "Pam", age 87 of Dayton, passed away Monday, July 3, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 28, 1936 in Mosinee, Wisconsin to the late Michael and Victoria Kutchmarek. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Kenton Salyer and brother, Jene Kutchmarek.

Pam is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Herbert Salyer; three children, Melanie Salyer, Blaine (Elke) Salyer, Michael Salyer; two grandchildren, Elena and Kenneth Salyer; four siblings; Michael Kutchmarek, Deborah (Lance) Krzmarcik, Darrell (Barb) Kutchmarek, and Melinda (Rod) Baur. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.


Pam graduated from Mosinee High School and became a Nurse. She had the patience of a saint and was very warm hearted. Pam enjoyed a good game of Bridge and was an Avid Pokémon Go player. She also loved to watch Star Wars, Marvel movies, and South Park. The most important thing to Pam was family, especially vacations to Myrtle Beach and watching fireworks. She is loved and will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439). Funeral Service will be officiated Pastor Joel Getts at 6:00 pm on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439).
