Pamela Jill Burr

Pamela Jill Burr, age 56, entered her eternal home on September 30, 2024. She was born December 27, 1967 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Douglas Mays and Beverly Light. Pamela was a proud alumni of West Carrollton Senior High School graduating class of 1986. After high school, she attended Sinclair Community College where her studies lead to various secretarial positions for employment over the years. 

Pamela is preceded in death by her dear son, Anthony T. Burr; and husband, Kevin P. Burr.

Pamela was deeply loved by her family. Her kind soul and sweet demeanor made it impossible for anyone to be a stranger. Pamela liked all types of jewelry, antiques and trips to the thrift store. She loved talking about her children, grandchildren, family and friends. Pamela enjoyed telling jokes and her laughter was just as contagious as her smile. Pamela will be remembered by many memories but most importantly she will be forever cherished for the beautiful woman she was inside and out by all that were fortunate enough to have really known her. 

Pamela is lovingly survived by: daughter, Amanda K. Mays; parents, Douglas (Irene) Mays and Beverly K. Light; grandchildren; Preston Mays, Keilin Mays, Skaylin Mays, and Jaysalin Mays; sisters, Lora (Norm) Folger, Julie Mays Downs (Randy Pigman), Angela (Shayne) Wormsbaker; and numerous beautiful nieces, nephews, extended family and Friends. 

A Celebration of Life will be held by the immediate family at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, our family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider contributing to the Pamela J. Burr Memorial Fund located at Desco Federal Credit Union (401 Chillicothe Street, Portsmouth, OH 45662), in honor of her daughter and grandchildren.
