Paiwon Akaraborworn, aged 94 of Centerville, passed away Monday, August 21, 2023. She was born July 12, 1929 in the daughter of Heng Bow Dong and Heng Phu Tee.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Akaraborworn Bow Jeam Unt; son, Tri Akaraborworn; father, Heng Bow Dong; mother, Heng Phu Tee.
Paiwon is survived by her children: Theerasak (Watchara) Akaraborworn, Pornpimol (Vitaya) Ninlawong, Prayoon (Chiraprapha) Akaraborworn, Wichitra (Raymond V. Schultz) Akaraborworn-Schultz, Waraporn (Pornchai Sirichotiratana) Akaraborworn, and Sammy Delgado; sister-in-law: Sumolthip Akaraborworn; grandchildren: Peter (Maly) Akaraborworn, Nevin Akaraborworn, Annie Akaraborworn, Osaree Akaraborworn, Ada (Keshun) Morgan, Mukarin Hirunteraphol, Amy (Kyle) Gillen, Arch Akaraborworn, Alena Sirichotiratana, Anya Akaraborworn; and great-grandchildren: Avary Cheung, Ansley Akaraborworn, and Ariya Morgan. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Paiwon had a green thumb and loved to garden. Her favorite flowers were lilac, roses, and peonies. When she wasn't in the garden, she enjoyed following the news in Thailand and watching Thai shows called lakorn.
Paiwon was a loving wife and mother devoted to her family and sacrificed so much to give her family a better life. She was known by all as a giver because of her generous heart.
Her love for her community was just as strong and generous, always willing to help anyone in need. Paiwon and her family has received an abundance of love. She will be remembered as the best Maae, Ya/Yai, and Tuat in the whole world!!
