Ova Rudd
RUDD, Ova, 87, of Englewood passed away Saturday, July 9, 2011 at The Hospice of Dayton. He was born September 15, 1923 in Salyersville, Ky.
He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, and will be greatly missed by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Rudd and his 7 brothers and sisters. He is survived by children, Eddie (Cheri) King, Susie (Mike) Fourman, John (Patty) Rudd, Patty (Greg) Haacke, Duane (Jayne) Rudd, Lillie (Bo) Heckman, Anita (Jim) Fugate, Paula (Ken) Rudd, and Darrell (Julie) Rudd; 18 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Ova was a veteran in the U.S. Army and proudly served in WWII.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 11, 2011 5-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel where funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 12 at 10:00 am with Pastor Timothy Rudd officiating.
Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
