Ottis Wiley, Jr., age 74 of Dayton, passed away August 28, 2012. He was born April 7, 1938 in Whitehouse, KY. He was preceded in death by his mother, Melinda Wiley; parents: Ottis and Ollie Wiley; and brother, James Wiley.
Ottis is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Brian and Amy Wiley; grandchildren: Ashley and Emily Wiley; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He is also survived by his ex-wife, Vondina Wiley, who he remained friends with over the years.
A funeral service will be held at 5:00 pm on Friday, August 31, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service, from 3-5 pm. Contributions may be made in Ottis' name to The Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45420.
