Ottie Lewis

LEWIS, Ottie Elizabeth (Betty), 85, passed away Friday, February 3, 2006 at her home in Xenia after a lengthy illness. She was born on November 22, 1920 in Beavercreek to Andrew and Ottie (Snyder) Gastiger. On June 24, 1939 she married her beloved husband Robert L. Lewis until his death in 1984. In the late 50's & 60's she owned and operated Betty & Bobs Drive Inn in Xenia. Ottie also worked at Hospitality Home east & Fulmer Store in Xenia. She is preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, and 4 great grandchildren. Ottie leaves behind her son Charles R. Lewis, sister Clara Brown, 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and a grand dog Whitney Louise who brought a lot of joy to her life. There will be a memorial service to celebrate Betty's life 1:00PM Saturday February 18, 2006,at Arrowbrook Baptist Church, 1124 Upper Bellbrook Rd. in Xenia all friends and relatives welcome.
