LEWIS, Orville, age 81, of Charlotte Harbor, FL., passed away October 27, 2003 at Hospice of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Willa Mae (Messer) Lewis of Hazard, KY. He is survived by his son, James Lewis of Kettering; 3 grandchildren, Jennifer Kate of Las Vegas, NV., Michael James of San Marcos, CA., Sarah Dawn Lewis of Xenia, OH.; 2 sisters, Denah Kozee of Dayton, Easter Ward of Paintsville, KY., and 1 brother, Fontain Lewis of Paintsville, KY. Orville was the chief of aerospace ground power equipment in the 4950th test wing. He retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base after 32 years of service. He was a lifetime member of DAV since 1946 and was a veteran of the US Army serving during WWII. Funeral services will be held 12:30PM Saturday, November 1, 2003 at Newcomer Farley Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 10:30AM until time of services. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
