Orville L. Freeman, age 73 of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly September 19, 2015. He was born February 3, 1942 in Dayton to the late James and Orpha (Hoops) Freeman. In addition to his parents, Orville was preceded in death by his brother, Warren Freeman and sister, Helen West.
He is survived by his loving wife of 2 years, Joanne Freeman; step-son, Donnie Moberly; step-daughters, Kristy Moberly and Patty (Rohn) Breig; grandchildren, Tyler, Tanner, Nicole (Barry) and Dalton Moberly; great-granddaughter, Gabrielle Velez; siblings, Emerson, Elizabeth, James, Margaret, Danny, Harold; nephew, Ronald L. Liffick and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Orville was an active member at the Senior Center in Huber Heights. He attended Coming Together Center, where he sang gospel music. Orville was a proud member of Temple Baptist Church in Dayton.
Orville worked and retired from General Motors on Wagner Ford after over 40 years of service.
