Orlyn W. Eakman

EAKMAN, Orlyn W. "Orie", age 88, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2009. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary, and his sister, Marcine. He is survived by his son, Bill; brother-in-law, Earle, and sister-in-law, Esther, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was a longtime Mason and a veteran of WWII in the United States Army. He also loved hunting, fishing, and trap shooting. Graveside services will be held at David's Cemetery at 11:30 am on Monday, September 14, 2009. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Monday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering.
