Orenzo Daniels, Sr., 79, was born February 29, 1940 to Milton & Ida Mae Daniels in Jackson, Miss. He died peacefully on January 27, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers, Mitchel Daniels, Qulo Daniels, Lorenzo Daniels, and David Lee Daniels and 2 sisters, Colene Daniels, and Cora Daniels.
He relocated to Dayton, Ohio in 1960 with his older brother and retired from Delco Moraine in 1999. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Some of his hobbies including being a great dancer, he liked paying cards, and he read the Bible a lot. He also was a witness of Jesus Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Linda Daniels; sons, Deodis Daniels, Arkansas, Orenzo (Michelle) Daniels Jr. of Texas, Ricky (Adrianne) of Dayton, Ohio, James Steve Daniels of Dayton, Ohio; step-child, Elisha Merriett of Ohio; daughter, Evangela Daniels-McCall of Dayton, Ohio; sister, Grace (Jerome) Watson of Minn, MN; brother, Henry (Delois) Daniels of Savannah, GA; 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
