Orenith Willard Sowder, "Red," age 94 of West Carrollton, passed away Monday, March 8, 2021 at Sycamore Hospital. He was born July 26, 1926 in Lee County, Virginia, the son of the late Tilmon and Ada Sowder.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Mary Sowder; and daughter, Sherry Hartford.
Red is survived by his children, Linda (Roger) Harris, Jean (Ray) Rotellini, Rick Sowder; grandchildren, Michelle Rotellini, Nick Sowder, Stacy (Carter) Click, Kurt (Cassandra) Harris, Ericka Charlton, Bryce Charlton; 1 great grandchild, Aislynn Harris; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Red was a veteran of the United States Navy and served his country in the Pacific during WWII. He also retired from the printing business after many years of employment.
