Ordes Williams

Ordes Williams, born March 9, 1928 in Middlefork KY. Passed away February 9, 2010. He moved to Dayton at the age of 16. He retired from The Miami Conservancy District where he was employed for 49 years. He was a member of the North Dayton Anglers. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, 2 brothers and 3 grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Charlotte Williams, 6 children, James and Linda Williams of Riverside OH, Sharon and Doug Anderson of Clayton OH, Carl and Beverly Williams of Ravenna KY, Roger and Cynthia Williams of Riverside OH, Wanda and Art Long of Riverside OH, and Wayne and Brenda Williams of St. Paris OH; 20 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and good friend Buddy Eades. Ordes was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He was loved and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends Friday, February 12, 2010 from 12:00-1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424). The service will begin at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Willow View Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation in Ordes's memory.
