Orabelle "Fran" Diltz

Orabelle Francine Diltz, 89, of Trotwood, passed away June 14, 2016. Fran was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on November 9, 1926 to the late Clarence and Hazel Shellhammer. She was a member of Sulfur Grove Methodist Church for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing and spending time with family.
In addition to her parents, Fran was preceded in death by her sisters, Charlene Lenk, Louise Brunk, Virginia Jacobs, Genevieve Hook; and brothers, Nelson and James Shellhammer.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert Diltz, Sr.; daughters, Tamara (Michael) Diltz-Andary, Teresa (Clayton) Blosser; son, Robert (Laura) Diltz, Jr.; grandchildren, Brittany (Cody) Bone, Taylor Andary, Tyler Andary; and sisters, Harriet Cornett, Betty Warnick.
A gathering will be held on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 10:30am at Sulphur Grove United Methodist Church, 7505 Taylorsville Rd, Dayton, OH 45424, where a memorial service will begin at 11am. Burial will be at Dayton National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Dayton.
