Opal D. Turner, age 90, she died at her home at Carlisle Manor in Carlisle, OH on Thursday January 3, 2013.
She is preceded by her parents, Whick and Reva Deaton; husband, Archie Turner; son, Whick Turner; sisters Vena Turner, Malta Phelps, and Glenna Turner; brothers, Chad Deaton and Buster Deaton.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Whick Turner, Denna Lowman, and Archie Turner; 4 great grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; sisters, Stella Jean (Jim) Robinson, Oma Shaw, and Alice Gross; and brother, Ray (Georgia) Deaton.
Visitation is Tuesday January 8, 2013 from 10am to 11am with funeral service starting at 11am at the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH.
Pastor Josh Robinson is officiating.
Interment is in Highland Cemetery.
