Opal Phillips
October 25, 1947 — April 19, 2013
Opal Phillips, age 65 of Dayton, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2013. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Hurley and Pearl (Cole) Marrs; and sister, Ella Daugherty.
She is survived by daughters, Angela Goldsboro, Cheryl Phillips and Crystal Phillips; fabulous grandchildren, Ashley Goldsboro, Erik Goldsboro and Manuel Alvarado; siblings, Judy (Bud) Burgess, Curt (Denise) Daugherty, Doug (Debbie) Daugherty, James (Debbie) Daugherty, Steve (Diane) Daugherty and Eddie Hurley; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Opal retired from nursing at Trinity Community, Beavercreek after 18 years of service. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, whom she
loved with all her heart.
She will be tremendously missed.
Contributions may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, in Opal's memory.
