Age 89, of Dayton passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at Livingston Care Center.
Opal was born June 14, 1922 in Campton, Kentucky to Leonard & Lula Mae Combs. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Gary Combs.
Opal is survived by four children, Rena Poulter, Freida Pageant, Russell (Pam) Combs & Kenny Combs; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren & great great grandchildren; one sister, Mildred Vest; and by her extended family & many good friends.
When she was physically able Opal attended the Word of God Church in Dayton.
The family will be receiving friends from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. Thursday, September 8, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. with interment to follow at Bearcreek Cemetery.
