Opal Kennedy

KENNEDY, Opal, Faye, born May 15, 1934 in Olive Hill Kentucky, to Everett and Nora Wilson, passed away July 11, 2005 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband Reuben (Sonny) in 1973, both of her parent's two brothers Henry and Louis Wilson and one sister Jewel Boggs and five half Brothers. Opal graduated from Olive Hill High School in 1953 and married her husband of 19 years in 1954. She is survived by four sons, Robert, Roy, Gary and Kenny of Dayton, two daughters Vickie of Dayton and Penny of Venezuela one brother Fred Wilson of Trotwood and one sister Alline Stapleton of Olive Hill Kentucky, ten Grandchildren Gary Jr., LaVonda Renea, Angie Faye, David Dean, Josh Wayne, Rachel Marie, Michael David, Allen Christopher Cathy Marie, and Reuben Wayne, four Great-Grandchildren and Baby Drew whose delivery date should be July 29, 2005 as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Opal enjoyed her 24 years of employment with Carlson Marketing Co. were she had many life long friendships with coworkers. Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4014 Needmore Rd. Dayton, Ohio 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Friday July 15, 2005. Services will be held at the Funeral Home at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 16, 2005. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.newcomerfamily.com
