Opal Jones

Jones, Opal, age 73, of Dayton, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at Grandview Hospital. She was born November 14, 1935 in Hazard, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Roy and Carrie (Wooten) Neace. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Jones, Sr. Survivors include her sons, Rufus Jones, Jr. and Randall Jones; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Hetch Neace; sister, Evangeline (Hershel) Feltner; special niece, Euphemia (Doug) Bowling; special friend, Charlotte (Edward) Kearns; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Monday, May 18, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 12 PM until the time of service.
