Casey, Onda Opal (Price), 96 years old, passed Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born June 3, 1917 in Dayton, Ohio to Jacob W. Price and Della Besecker Price of Brookville, Ohio. She met and married her husband, Ralph Casey in 1943 while they both worked at Frigidaire. They lived in West Carrollton where they had their two children, Sandy and Kevin. After Ralph passed in 1956 she worked at NCR for 22 years, retiring in 1980, then at Mead for 10 years, and at the "Colony Club" as a hostess for many years where she met two of her best friends, Maria Snyder and Evelyn Reynolds, who both still remain close friends.
Onda never knew a stranger and was known for her smile and positive attitude. She was known as "Casey" by many and never would you see her out without her dangle earrings and fashionable clothes. She loved working in her yard and missed not being able to do that for the last two years. She was loved by many and amazing to all.
