Omer Lawson
January 12, 1934 — April 5, 2018
Omer Lawson, age 84 of Huber Heights, passed away April 5, 2018. He was born January 12, 1934 in Menifee County, KY to the late Wert and Hazel (Wells) Lawson. In addition to his parents, Omer was preceded in death by his son, Tony Lawson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Maudie Lawson; children, John (Bonnie) Lawson, Miachel (Claudia) Lawson, Barb Newcomer and Lil John; grandchildren, Jessica Lawson and Shannon Fent; great-grandchildren; Drew Triplett, John III and Joshua Lawson; numerous extended family and friends.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. A funeral service will begin at 10 AM on Thursday, April 12 at the funeral home with Pastor Emily Haddix officiating. Interment will follow the service at Valley View Memorial Gardens, Xenia.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bath Presbyterian Church, 4624 Bath Rd., Dayton, OH 45424, in Omer's memory.
