GINTER, Omer Ray, age 81 Formerly of Centerville, passed away April 13, 2011 in Cape Coral, FL. Born July 27, 1929 in Lexington, Ky to the late Omer and Frances Brady Ginter.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 49 years, Wavelyn nee Christopher.
He is survived by his children, Donna (Art) Pearce, Linda Ginter, Rebecca (Jeff) Broadstock, Laura (Thomas) Gibson, and John (Kathy) Ginter; 13 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Omer proudly served in the Army Air Corps during the Korean War. He retired from Defense Electronic Supply Center after 38 years of service. He was a wonderful man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 18, 2011 from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Interment at Bellbrook Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice of Dayton.
