Ollie Mae (Stanback) Worsley, age 86 of Dayton, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 at Friendship Village. She was born November 11, 1931 in Rockingham, North Carolina.
Ollie resided in Ohio in 1961 and was employed by Wright-Patt AFB from 1967-1982 and Miami Valley Hosptial from 1983-1991. She was a member, usher and served on the Missionary Board of the Phillips Temple CME Church for over 40 years.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jess Stanback,; mother, Eleanor Baldwin; husband, James E. Worsley; daughter, Linda J. Worsley; son, Willie H. Liles; siblings, Fanny Brown, Beatrice Davis, Clayton Stanback, Leonard Stanback, James Stanback and Melvin Stanback.
Ollie will be missed by her two sons, Edward Worsley and Theodore Worsley; sister-in-law, Ann Mimms; grandchildren, Anthony Downey, Tanzie Wood, Jackie Worsley, Oshoua (Ladonna) Worsley, Channa Worsley, Belinda (Anthony) McCord, James Jones, Jr. (Crystal), Michael Worsley, Latoya (Timothy) Worsley; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Also a special companion, Roy L. Parks and the Parks family.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 11:00 am at Phillips Temple CME Church, 3620 Shiloh Springs Road, Dayton, Ohio. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am at the church. Pastor James E. Washington, officiating. Burial to immediately follow the service at West Memory Gardens.
