Ollie R. Martin

MARTIN, Ollie R., age 86, of Dayton, died Tuesday, October 4, 2005. She was born September 14, 1919 in Covington, OH, the daughter of Oliver and Elizabeth (Adams) Schaeffer. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Harvest Chapter #564 and retired from the Mad River School District in 1981. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Rick Norris , Donna and Darrell Norrod; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Leslie Martin, Thomas and Sharon Martin;12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Martin in 1981; both parents; 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Visitation will be held Friday, October 7, 2005 from 6-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd.) where funeral services will be held Saturday, October 8, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Thomas Bowman officiating. If desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
