Olivia A. Boggs

Boggs, Olivia A. "Livvy", age 64, of Miami Township, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2008. Olivia was a loving and devoted partner, grandma, sister and THE BEST MOM EVER. She retired from Dayton Public School after 30 years of teaching, served as a Tupperware Consultant for over 24 years, and loved camping, the outdoors, and her flowers.

Livvy is survived by her daughters and son-in-law: Angela (Tod) York & Andrea Boggs both of Dayton; grandchildren: Logan & Kaylee York; life partner: Brian W. Hall of Miami Township; sister and brother-in-law: Tommie "Suzi" (Michael) Werner of Grove City; and numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Marvin G. & Bertie L. (McFarland) Goodwin.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Monday, December 8, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering with Reverend Andrew Wagner officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 2:00 P.M. until time of services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, The Salvation Army, or Memorial United Methodist Church, envelopes will be provided.
