Odean Freeman, age 95, of Xenia, formerly of Dayton, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016. She was born in Overton County, Tennessee.
Odean enjoyed fishing, traveling, crocheting, ceramics and reading. She was a member of Faircreek Church in Fairborn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James T. and Ollie (Copeland) Sisco; loving husband of 76 years, Marvin C Freeman; son, Nolan Freeman; brother, Loasure Sisco and sisters, Opal Chumney and Ann Kemmer.
Odean is survived by her children, Kenneth (Linda) Freeman; Ann (Dwight) Wolf and Janet (Donald) Monk; daughter-in-law, Darlene Freeman; 7 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 pm until the funeral service at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Beavercreek, OH 45432. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery.
