Ocie Deskins, age 86, of Huber Heights, passed away on April 4, 2021. She was born in Pikeville, Kentucky, on February 2, 1935, the daughter of the late Osper and Louise Newsome.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Paul Everett Deskins; and her son, Danny Paul Deskins.
Ocie is survived by her son, Jammy Ray (Sian) Deskins; grandchildren, Kevin Paul Deskins, Molly Elaine (Scott) Poffenbarger, Megan Elizabeth (Landon) Bedford and Matthew James Deskins; great grandchildren, Dominic, Abigail and Truett Lane; and many other loving family and friends.
She worked for over 20 years in the Retail Industry. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time outside and gardening. Ocie was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her time spent with her family meant the world to her.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Entombment will be at Dayton Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
