Nyla Rose Amburgey

Nyla R. Amburgey, 69, of New Carlisle, passed away on March 3, 2021. She was born on September 12, 1951, the daughter of the late Floyd and Lois (Johnson) Bilbrey. On May 22, 1972 she married Burch Amburgey, who preceded her in death in 2005.
Nyla is survived by daughters, Dawn (Delfino) Rodriguez and Barbie Fish; step-children, Ken Amburgey and Michelle Rodriguez; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Sheila (Malcolm) Farrant; brothers, Larry (Carol) Bilbrey and Floyd (Connie) Bilbrey Jr.; many nieces and nephews; and best friend, Melodie Cole.
Nyla will be remembered by her friends and family as a loving, kind-spirited woman. She will be greatly missed.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH 45424. Friends and family may visit from 10:00am until the time of service. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Cemetery.
The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face mask will be worn in all public places.
